After surveying more than 4,000 game developers, Gamasutra recently summarized a series of annual salary reports in the game industry. The report shows that the average annual salary of game developers in the United States is US$83,060 (approximately 510,000 yuan).

Comparatively, male developers earn $85,074, while women earn just $72,882.
