Orff instruments are unique instruments created by Carl Orff.

The instruments used in the unique music teaching method founded by the world-famous German composer and music educator Carl Orff are called "Orff instruments". They are divided into instruments without fixed pitch and instruments with fixed pitch.

In Orff's teaching, musical instruments such as piano and violin are generally not used, but refined percussion instruments are used. Orff instruments are divided into two categories: those with a fixed pitch that can play melody, and those without a fixed pitch that play a rhythmic role.

Orff music teaching is comprehensive teaching, which not only allows children to learn music and cultivate their musical ability, but also has an intellectual effect on language, imitation, creation and other aspects. Orff music teaching is activity-based teaching, which is in line with children's learning characteristics and enables children to learn music happily and love music.
