Kangbashi Junior High School is good.

Yiqi Middle School has one, two and four middle schools, four junior high schools and one high school in Kuangzhong. There is also a fifth middle school under construction. Among them, Yiqi No. 1 Middle School ranked among the top three in Ordos City in 2016 high school entrance examination results, and entered the first echelon of junior high schools in the city.

Kangbashi now has two junior high schools. Kang No. 1 Middle School was newly built in 2011. Many of its teachers are outstanding municipal teachers from various regions and have rich teaching experience. Another junior high school is the Ordos Affiliated School of Beijing Normal University, which is the first junior high school in Kangbashi. Beijing Normal University Ordos Affiliated School is a 12-year compulsory public school jointly established by Beijing Normal University and the Ordos Municipal People's Government. The school is located in the center of Kangbashi New District, Ordos City, with both primary and secondary schools in the new campus of the middle school. It has various professional classrooms such as gymnasium, physical room, music classroom, ladder classroom, canteen, and staff dormitory. It has complete teaching facilities and advanced teaching equipment. The Ordos Affiliated School of Beijing Normal University is the first school in Kangbashi New District, Ordos City. It is also the first affiliated school jointly built by Beijing Normal University and the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
