Later, in September, Wu got first place in the music theory exam in the class and successfully entered the composition class to learn harmony, musical form, and songwriting. "I still remember that I made a lot of mistakes in my first harmony assignment, and then I ran to ask the teacher. The teacher was very fierce, but he was very serious when he helped me answer the questions. To be honest, I was very touched. So I insisted on writing the subsequent harmony assignments. , the harmony gradually got better."

I remember that after class that day, I immediately took my friend to the new piano room to write songs. I didn't even know the key of the first song I wrote, so I felt like I was writing it randomly. . I played it to my classmates who knew how to play the guzheng, and they were laughed at because it was terrible. Of course, the songs I wrote were pretty good!”
There were failures and successes along the way, and there were also disappointments and excitements. "I took exams at many schools, and the ones that impressed me the most were Nanjing University of the Arts and Zhejiang Conservatory of Music. I wore a pair of pants in the sub-zero temperature, and when I walked on the road, I felt like my legs were not my own. However, in the two nights before the exam, several teachers were with me. I was practicing harmony, and in the end everyone persisted and passed the exam.”
