Brit-pop, commonly known as British, is divided into two schools: rock and pop.
Brit-rock belongs to the well-known Coldplay, Radiohead, Muse, Travis, etc.
Brit-Pop takes the popular route, such as the Spice Girls or Keane (it’s hard to say whether they are rock and roll, because the band does not have electric guitars, so it doesn’t count for the time being)
