Finally it’s our turn to form a group! Teacher Cheng first demonstrated: she picked up a bowl of dumplings and gently rubbed it around the edge of the pot. The dumplings slid down like a slide. Seeing a bowl of dumplings go in, other dumplings couldn't wait to jump into the pot to meet their brothers and sisters. After a while, the pot started boiling, and the dumplings were dancing enthusiastically in it, sometimes gathering, sometimes spreading, sometimes floating, sometimes sinking. I thought it was done, so I handed the bowl over. Unexpectedly, Teacher Cheng told us that it was still not cooked yet and we had to add two more bowls of water. I calmed down and waited patiently until the third bowl of water was added. The dumplings were finally cooked! They were cooked until they were chubby and white, each with a little belly, and they were so cute.
I couldn’t wait to take the dumplings into the plate, pick one up and put it in my mouth. ah! It’s so delicious! The ones you make yourself are delicious! The hard work paid off, our dumplings were beautiful and delicious, and we successfully won the first place! This dumpling-making conference not only cultivated our hands-on ability and our teamwork spirit, but also made me understand: the power of unity is the greatest!
