4. Specific requirements for professional courses

The candidates’ comprehensive musical quality will be measured through examinations in music knowledge, performance and singing, composition, sight-singing and ear training.

Among them, music theory and sight-singing and ear training are essential basic music quality tests for every candidate studying music; music knowledge tests candidates’ understanding of Chinese and foreign music history and general knowledge; composition tests candidates’ written writing The performance and singing and professional interviews mainly understand the candidates’ experience of learning music, their ability to interpret music, their mastery of relevant music knowledge and their thinking responses.

1. Professional Written Exam

Specific requirements:

☆Musical structure: No matter the music or the song, it requires reasonable syntax and balanced development between paragraphs.

☆Harmony: Ability to master basic four-part harmony writing, with reasonable harmony configuration and smooth bass lines. Have basic harmonic analysis ability and be able to better distinguish chord overtones and closely related modulations in works.

☆Musical expression: Song creation requires that the melody be consistent with the content and emotion of the lyrics, and can better express the meaning of the lyrics; music creation requires that the work is connected with the examination questions, the development is appropriate, and the climax is clear and sufficient.

2. Professional interview

Major: Recording Art and Computer Music

1. Song Writing and Melody Development (Written Examination)

( 1) Create a single melody song using staff notation according to the specified lyrics.

(2) Develop a single melody based on the designated theme or musical theme (motif).

Specific requirements: the scale of the music form should be within a single three-part (three-section form), the writing should be standardized, the notation should be detailed, and the score should be neat.

2. Professional foundation and comprehensive knowledge (written test)

3. Instrument performance and professional interview

(1) Piano is the main instrument for the test: it is required to play 1 Bach polyphonic work (not 1 set) or 1 etude; 1 sonata allegro movement or a solo work of considerable difficulty (both Chinese and foreign); sight-reading of a new score (measures 8-16), the difficulty of which is equivalent to Czerny's 849 etude. 4. Professional requirements

The timbre is required to be bright, mellow, clean, with great plasticity in the voice, no disease in the vocal and respiratory organs, and a natural vocal range of about 12 degrees.

Be able to sing songs in accurate Mandarin or more accurate foreign languages, and be able to better express the emotions of the songs, with accurate pitch, rhythm, and smooth melody.

Applicants are required to have good facial features, be at least 1.6 meters tall for women and over 1.7 meters tall for men, and be dignified and generous.

5. Reference repertoire

Both male and female voices can choose the "Selected Vocal Pieces for Trial Teaching Materials of Normal Colleges" (Chinese Works Volumes 1, 2, and 3 and Foreign Works Volumes 1 and 2). , three volumes), or works in other vocal music textbooks.

Candidates can choose the repertoire and key pitch that suits them based on their voice conditions, level and parts (except for opera arias, other songs allow rising and falling keys), or they can choose reference repertoire Taking other songs into the exam will not affect your score.

Orchestral Department

1. Contents of the Preliminary Examination for Main Subjects
