Personally, I mainly recommend So-voice, Hivi or Edifier brand speakers. Creative ones are also good.

If you want pure music, you need a 2.0 speaker, preferably a three-band speaker. Most speakers can be connected to MP4 via an audio cable.

HiVi’s speakers all look good. If you insist on 2.1 speakers (two speakers plus a subwoofer), you can choose Swans' M10 (around 300) or Edifier C3 (around 890, with independent power amplifier, three-way). As for the ability to directly read USB flash drives and SD I personally feel that good sound effects cost more than 1,000 (such as 3nod's ifi-725II, with independent amplifier, 3-way frequency, 2.1, around 1280), and lower-priced ones such as Microlab's fc530U (2.1) More than 500. If you mainly listen to music, 2.1 speakers are not recommended.
