Riyuebei started construction in 2010 and was completed and accepted in 2017.

4. Architectural function: Zhuhai Riyuebei was once named Zhuhai Opera House. Before the premiere, the name was finally determined as Zhuhai Grand Theater. Zhuhai Grand Theater adopts the world's advanced acoustic and optical design and stage technology design to meet the needs of large-scale musicals, musicals, ballets, symphonies, large-scale comprehensive performances, etc.

5. Architectural significance: Zhuhai Riyuebei is the only opera house built on an island in China, ending the history of no large-scale opera house in Zhuhai. Riyuebei is a landmark building in Zhuhai City.
