It is difficult to get into Beijing Dance University.

The majors admitted by Beijing Dance Academy are all art majors. All applicants are required to take the Beijing Dance Academy's professional school examination and the national unified examination for general higher education admissions (college entrance examination). In addition, candidates should take the provincial unified examination for the corresponding art majors in accordance with the relevant regulations of the place where the students come from and obtain passing results.

For qualified candidates in the dance performance major, after their college entrance examination cultural class scores (excluding any additional points) reach the college's self-marking score, they will be queued up according to their professional examination rankings and will be admitted on a selective basis. If the professional examination rankings are the same, the college will compare the college entrance examination scores (converted according to the full score of 750 points), and the single subject scores of Chinese, foreign languages, and mathematics subjects from high to low (the single subject scores are converted according to the full score of 150 points).

Based on the teaching characteristics of dance performance majors, the ratio of male and female students needs to be determined for each recruitment direction, and male and female students will be admitted according to the proposed ratio. If there are unfilled quotas for each recruitment direction under the dance performance major, the quota can be adjusted within the dance performance major.
