Dicky Cheung version of The Journey to the West, also known as Monkey King, is a mythical TV series produced by Hong Kong Television Broadcasting Co., Ltd., which is directed by Sze Yu Lau and starred by Dicky Cheung, Jiang Hua, Li Yaoxiang and Changqing Mai.

The play was first broadcast on TVJade in 1996. It mainly tells the story that Tang Sanzang went to the West to learn from the Monkey King, Pig Bajie, Sha Wujing and Xiaobailong as his apprentices and mounts. The four of them followed Tang Sanzang on the road, and they often encountered demons and ghosts on the way, and started a difficult journey to learn from the West.
