Tencent Entertainment: How did the four members of the band meet?

Marie’s band next door: Actually, the four of us all have our own jobs. When we were doing music, we all had experience in performing. We have lead vocals, guitars, and drummers. We used to play music together. Later, I gradually wanted to organize a band like this. A few of us started playing this kind of thing a year ago in 2012, and Ma Tou Ge started to appear.

Tencent Entertainment: So playing music is purely your spare time?

Mary’s Next Door Band: Yes, we all have our own jobs, some are freelance, some are in business, it has nothing to do with music. Playing music is just a hobby, we just like it, but it is not our true passion. Work. In fact, I didn’t expect to make money or become famous by singing.

Tencent Entertainment: How much time do you spend making music now in your daily life?

Mary’s Next Door Band: Basically every day. I practice singing from about 7 o'clock to 11 o'clock every day. I practice singing whenever I have free time on Saturdays and Sundays.

Tencent Entertainment: Will you become a full-time musician or singer in the future?

Mary’s Next Door Band: This depends on everyone’s direction. If we were to be full-time singers, it would definitely take a while, because after all, many of our things are amateur, and it doesn’t mean we have been playing for many years.

Tencent Entertainment: Do you have an agent or a record company inviting you now?

Mary’s Next Door Band: Not yet, but we have a manager ourselves, which is Marry.
