There are three types of music melodies:

1. Monophonic music - music with only one melody such as unaccompanied solo, solo, chorus, etc.;

2. Polyphonic music - it is a kind of music in which several tunes are entered in different ways under the premise of harmony. They both cooperate with each other and develop independently. Polyphonic music has reached a high degree of perfection in the hands of Bach.

3. Main-key music - refers to a kind of music in which one part plays the main melody, and the other parts use harmony to accompany the main melody.
