Rousseau once said: The art of a musician never lies in the direct imitation of the object, but in being able to bring people's minds close to the artistic conception caused by the existence of the (described) object itself. For example, Beethoven's "Für Elise" can be heard through the ears, and the music is beautiful. Is "Alice" a female? possible. How is the image? We think of a beautiful girl image, with elegant manners, gentle temperament, and beautiful face. The portrait in our minds will never be concretely outlined in music. This is where music excels at freehand expression but fails at realism.
