My colleague Xiaoya came to our small place with the army. I heard that she used to be a primary school teacher. In order to pursue love, she traveled thousands of miles to this small border town and worked in an unfavorable job. What a job you like.

Alone time: Our unit does not have a canteen, so we will issue meal tickets in exchange for meals. We can book lunch at a nearby restaurant and choose on our own. Meal time is the best place for communication. Everyone gathers together to talk and laugh, and the laughter is extremely lively. Xiaoya, on the other hand, basically did not participate in our communication. She ate quietly, then turned on her mobile phone and watched silently. Sometimes she would bring her kingle to read, which seemed very quiet.

Space: One time I went to see Xiaoya for something. Her house was in a courtyard for military families. It was a small house with two bedrooms, and it was very neat. The master bedroom is the couple's room, and the second bedroom is the daughter's residence. There is a small study room in the corner of the living room. Music: Xiaoya explained that she usually likes to listen to music. She listens to music when doing housework, does laundry and mops the floor to the rhythm of music. I am not so resistant to housework, but feel it is a kind of enjoyment.

Reading: Speaking of reading, Xiaoya smiled and explained that after joining the army, she and her husband spent less time together and more separation, and spent most of their time on border defense. In her free time, Xiaoya used reading to pass the time. After having a child, There is no interruption in reading. Children are influenced by Xiaoya and start reading from an early age. Now I enjoy reading, discussing, and exchanging reading experiences with my children.

Growing flowers: There are many green plants in Xiaoya’s small room, most of which are foliage plants, and they are full of greenery. Xiaoya likes the feeling of being surrounded by green plants, as if she is in the green mountains and green waters of her hometown.
