A literary film with beautiful scenes
Drama title: "Let Sorrow End at Sunrise"
Viewing Source: iQiyi, P Station
Musician Sander's wife passed away. In grief, he decided to take his two daughters into seclusion. Sander, who lost his wife, used music to remember his wife, because only when he was immersed in the sound of the violin could he meet his wife in the "other world". Until a talented and handsome young man came to visit, the family's life changed again.
The music and aerial shots of the movie are both very artistic. The quiet French countryside, the greenery in the woods, the labor and playing, the lonely old castle, every frame is as beautiful as an oil painting. The bright and light tones in the current period turned into dark tones as the plot became heavier, making it even more charming by contrast.
The master Sander's reticence, the pain of losing his wife, and his melodiousness; the eldest daughter's noble innocence, and her life destroyed by love; Marais's frivolity, selfish confusion, and remorse. The three people have different madness in restraint, and love is the final exit for each of these three people to be obsessed with for a lifetime, and they all have the same sorrow in different ways.
Let sorrow end at sunrise. All the mornings in the world will never return, and love and morning dew will eventually be in vain. The final shot was very moving. In the silence after the strings fell silent, Marais saw the teacher who had been dead for many years raising his hands. I wonder if he remembered the last lesson taught by his dear teacher at that time.
"Our ship has sunk to the bottom and rotted in the pond. The other world is as full of holes as the ship. Every morning in the world is gone forever. Where is your ship? I Where are the tears?"
Excellent lines in the play:
"Music exists to express things that words cannot express, so it does not belong entirely to humans."
