The Austrian violinist Kreisler once strolled down Unterwerping Street and saw a violin in the window of a junk shop, and he was very interested. He walked into the store, took out the violin from the case he carried with him, and compared it with the violins displayed in the window. The shopkeeper said to him, "Wait a moment! I'll go out first." After a while, the shopkeeper came back with the police. He shouted: "Catch this man quickly, he stole Chrysler's violin!" Chrysler didn't have any identification on him, and the shopkeeper didn't believe him no matter how he tried to excuse himself. Later, Chrysler played a piece of "Beautiful Rosemary" composed by himself. The shop owner finally believed that the man in front of him was the famous violinist Kreisler.
