The Last Battle is the title song of the album Octave Space. When this song first came out, it was controversial. Many people thought it was about war, but Jay Chou himself said that he actually wrote it according to the image of a national hero, in order to oppose violence and drugs, not to describe the real battle.

We are looking for a sheltered trench in the sound of machine gun fire
The castle carved in sand as a child was destroyed and rebuilt
But your one with blood and bullet holes.
with those young people who have been doing nothing all summer
I put down my gun and recalled the school where I graduated together last year
and my tears have always been forgotten
The voice of ridicule is constantly being practiced in the wind
The forest is full of hostility
The troops abandoned their positions. You insisted that I leave, too
How can I give up
I stayed with you
Holding back my tears. P > I'm not allowed to talk about my hometown again.
I'll stay with you.
The last distance is that your side face falls in my arms.
You sleep slowly.
I can't shake you.
Tears burst in the trenches.
I think of the smell of popsicle soda in the smoke.
And those young people who have been doing nothing all summer.
.
The forest is full of hostility.
The troops abandoned their positions. You insisted that I leave, too.
How can I give up?
I'll stay with you.
I can't hold back my tears.
Some things are really too late to go back.
Your face is twitching.
You're almost exhausted.
I'm not allowed to talk about things in my hometown.
I'll stay with you.
