Wang Hongwei, born in June 1968, is from Wenxian County, Henan Province. He joined the army in October 1984. He has a full-time postgraduate degree. He is a national first-class actor and a famous tenor singer in China.

Wang Hongwei grew up in Wenquan County, Bortala Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang, western China. His father died of illness when he was 4 years old. He helped his mother herd sheep and sang songs since he was a child. As a child, he sat on the butt of a herdsman’s horse. Listening to songs on the Internet, the long Mongolian songs are as long as the road. The real reason why he fell in love with northwest folk songs was watching the movie "Yellow Earth".

The music enlightenment teacher is teacher Chao Haojian, a tenor singer from the Xinjiang Military Region Song and Dance Ensemble. He started performing on stage at the age of 12; at the age of 15, he was specially recruited to serve as an art soldier in the Bole Military Division of Xinjiang; in 1984, after joining the army from Wenquan County, Xinjiang in October, he served as a projectionist in the Bortala Military Division of the Xinjiang Military Region; in 1987, he passed the examination Entered the Urumqi branch of Xi'an Army Academy and studied Uyghur.
