First of all, you need a pair of headphones, connect it to the computer, and install Cool Edit Pro 2.0 (hereinafter referred to as CEP) in your computer system. CEP is a powerful music editing software. It is convenient to have it. It is equivalent to having a multi-track digital recorder, a music editing machine and a professional synthesizer at the same time. CEP is not only suitable for professionals, but also for those who only have a "burn" once in a while, or who want to realize their music dreams. Next, I will introduce to you the magical charm of CEP and complete the production process of a computer karaoke.

After CEP is installed, install the three plug-ins BBE_Sonic_Maximizer, Ultrafunk2, and Waves 3.0 to the corresponding locations. These three plug-ins are easy to find online and you can download them yourself. During installation, release all three plug-ins into the "DX" folder, and then execute the "Refresh Effect List" command in the "Effects" menu of CEP. You will find that there are dozens of new effects under the DirectX effect. Using these effects, you can polish and beautify your sound as much as you like.

1. Before starting, you need to set the "Sound and Audio Properties".

2. In CEP, click the "Track Switch" button to go to the multi-track interface, light R on the third track, click the record button, do not make any sound, and record a blank noise file first. It doesn’t need to be long. 4. The next task is to remove the original singing voice from the song. Right-click the second track, use the "Adjust Single Frequency Block Pan" command, open the pan adjustment slider, and adjust the slider to the left end. At this time, click the "Play" button to listen. The original sound in the song disappears, leaving only the accompanying sound. Now it’s time for us to show off our singing voices.

When you have finished recording, click the "Stop" button in the lower left part of the CEP main window. The waveform of the file just recorded will appear in the third track window. To play it, click the Play button.

6. At this time, you will feel that the recorded sound is dry. Our next task is to perform effect processing on the newly recorded sound. Right-click the track where you recorded the sound and click "Edit Waveform" to enter single-track mode.

7. The recorded sound must first be denoised. Click the noise reducer in the effect. We have sampled the environmental noise in step 2. At this time, just click the "OK" button , the noise reducer will automatically eliminate the ambient noise in your recorded sound.

8. In order to make your voice more balanced and consistent, it will not be louder or softer. You can use waveC4 and click the "Preview" button to adjust to a satisfactory effect.

9. Add reverb. Now we are going to add reverb to your sound through ReverbR3 in "Effects→DirectX→Utlrafunkfx". Choose a suitable one from the preset options for you to use. Don’t forget to open “Preview” first, adjust the pre-added effects and click the “OK” button.
