"Wall-E" is the original soundtrack of the movie of the same name, composed by Thomas Newman and released on June 24, 2008. Some of the tracks on the soundtrack are taken from the musical Hello, Dolly! "Put On Your Sunday Clothes" and "It Only Takes a Moment" from the album.
The soundtrack also includes Louis Armstrong's "La Vie en Rose" and an original song, Peter Gabriel's "Down to Earth".
The soundtrack won two Grammy Awards: Best Original Song and Best Instrumental Arrangement. It is also a nominee for the Best Original Film and Television Music Album Award. In addition, the soundtrack was nominated for two Academy Awards: the soundtrack itself was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Score, and "Back to Earth" was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Song.
