The examination content of Shenyang Conservatory of Music is as follows:

1. Department of Music

Preliminary examination:

1. Written examination: Basics of Musicology General knowledge (Chinese traditional music, Chinese music history, Western music history);

2. Interview: (comprehensive test): ①, thesis statement and Q&A; ②, performance: Chinese and foreign music or etudes 1 Song (other instruments except piano are prepared by yourself); ③. Singing: one of your own folk songs, operas or folk art excerpts.

Retest:

1. Writing, no less than 1,000 words;

2. Listening and identification of famous music (written test): Chinese traditional music, Chinese modern music , Western music classic excerpts;

3. Basic music theory, listening written test, and sight-singing.

2. Piano Department

Preliminary test:

1. Scales, arpeggios, a group of seven-minus seventh arpeggios in major keys and minus seven in minor keys (keys) The gender is chosen by the candidates);
