Generally speaking, the M50W is quite good. Music, movies, and games are all very good, especially games and movies are better (compared to 2.0 boxes). For listening to music, to be honest, it is better than walking. It is better than S2.1, especially the midrange and treble parts, which continue the attractive style of Swans. As a 2.1 speaker, Swans M50W performs better in music. However, it is still inferior to M200KII or M200KIII. This is also the difference between 2.0 and 2.1 speakers. You can’t have your cake and eat it too, so I suggest you try it yourself.
Let’s talk about the shortcomings of M50W: 1. The layering of the bass is a bit lacking. It should be an adjustment problem, which should be solved in the future.
2. Be more selective about the sound source. If you listen to a good CD with a CD, the effect will be insignificant. If you add an onboard sound card and MP3 audio source, you will probably be disappointed. The effect is mediocre.
The above are all my thoughts after trying it out at the HiVi flagship store today. I hope it will be helpful to you.
