University of Waikato admission conditions

1. University preparatory course. International students who are over 16 years old, graduated from a full-time high school with excellent grades, and an IELTS score of no less than 5.5; or a TOEFL score of no less than 490, or a CBT (computer-based TOEFL test) score of 163 or above. The Foundation Year is designed for students from non-English speaking countries who wish to study at a New Zealand university. After graduation, you can obtain a "University Admission Certificate" generally recognized by all universities in New Zealand and most universities in Australia.

2.Bachelor degree. Admission requirements for international students: New Zealand matriculation examination scores; or completing the first year of study at a regular domestic university; IELTS score not less than 6.0; or TOEFL score not less than 550.
