Wong Ka-kui was born in Hong Kong, China on June 10, 1962. He had a very good relationship with his younger brother Wong Ka-keung when he was a child. When he was in junior high school, Ka-kui fell in love with Western European pop music due to the subtle influence of his friends; when he was 17 years old, He became deeply attached to this instrument because of an acoustic guitar left behind by his neighbor when he moved. After graduating from Boyun Middle School, Wong Ka-kui worked as an office assistant, hardware, air-conditioning, plumbing, TV set setter, etc., and even joined the insurance company where band drummer Ye Sai Wing worked as a salesman.
