It was published for the first time in the form of a full-color back cover of each issue. It was about six months after Doraemon began to be serialized. pokoyan, an incredible creature in the legend, used incredible tools to help the boy who adopted him cater to the interests of young children and created an impressive work similar to Doraemon.
◆ In 1993, he made an animation called 『pokonyan』 (all 17 times). In order to prevent the animated version from being too young and giving people a feeling similar to Doraemon, the original work was greatly modified with emphasis on originality (in fact, the cartoon story of tinkling cats was also used in the animated version of Doraemon). As one of the protagonists of the cartoon, Taro, a primary school boy, also became an original primary school girl, Maggie, who followed the animated version in the same year. The cartoon of the same name was drawn by Daoming Tanaka of Fujiko Pro and published in "One-year Primary School".
