Yang Yan, born in the beautiful coastal city of Dalian, is a member of China Musicians Association and a director of Guangdong Musicians Association. He is currently the head of vocal music department, associate professor, master tutor and tenor of Xinghai Conservatory of Music. In 1988, he worked in Xinghai Conservatory of Music. In 1995, he served as the head of the vocal music department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music. Since teaching for 27 years, I have injected excellent teachers into the vocal music department, expanded the faculty of the department and innovated teaching. In particular, the "top strategy" was put forward. It not only makes the top students' professional achievements improve rapidly in a short period of time and win numerous awards in various vocal music competitions, but also greatly stimulates the initiative and diligence of all students, which drives the enthusiasm and sense of responsibility of all teachers and has gained a lot. Over the past ten years, under the leadership and construction of Director Yang Yan, the vocal music department of Xinghai Conservatory of Music has gradually become famous, from a profession that was originally ranked in the middle and lower reaches of the country to a famous brand specialty that ranks among the best in the country.
In terms of teaching achievements, Mr. Yang Yan has won many successes. In the past 214, student Wang Chuanliang won the Excellence Award in the National Vocal Music Competition, the exhibition of Harbin of the Ministry of Culture, and the second prize in the German Art Song Competition held by the Central Conservatory of Music. Student Xie Yun won the third prize in the German Art Song Competition held by the Central Conservatory of Music ... There are countless such awards. Especially as the highest and top music event in China-"China Music Golden Bell Award", it is the weather vane of the development of China music, and Teacher Yang has made great contributions to its development. On December 21st, 2 3, the third "China Music Golden Bell Award" moved to Guangzhou and settled here. From the day when the Golden Bell Award was settled in Guangzhou, almost every competition was won by Yang Yan's students. Regardless of Zhang Wenwei and others who won the grand prize in international vocal competitions, you can count the younger son of Yang Men who won the Golden Bell Award-the third session: Luo Xian (soprano) silver award and Wu Zheming (baritone) bronze award; Fourth session: Liu Ying (mezzo-soprano) Bronze Award; Fifth session: Zhang Wenwei (Bass) Silver Award; Seventh: Liu Ying (mezzo-soprano) Bronze Award; Eighth: Zhiwei Jiang (tenor) Excellence Award and Zhang Xueliang (tenor) Excellence Award; Ninth: Silver Award for Liu Ying (mezzo-soprano) and Bronze Award for Zhang Xueliang (tenor).
In terms of artistic practice and communication, Yang Yan held many concerts, such as The Great July 1st-Yang Yan's 214 Graduation Concert and Starlight Glimmer-Yang Yan's Vocal Music Teaching Tour Concert, which were widely welcomed and highly praised. At the same time, Mr. Yang Yan is often invited to give lectures on "Master Class" in other universities, and was hired as a visiting professor by Guangzhou University of Foreign Studies, Huizhou University, Luoyang Normal University and other universities. As a judge of many national and world-class competitions, such as the national and world college students' opera competitions, he won wide acclaim. At the same time, we also pay attention to the artistic exchange between experts at home and abroad, and invited Mr. Liao Changyong to hold "Vocal Master Class", Rolando Nicolosi, Jin Man and other master courses to improve students' professional quality.
In addition to professional training, a chorus teaching and research section was established under the leadership of Director Yang Yan, which aroused students' strong interest, expanded their professional coverage and exercised their awareness of cooperation and communication. At the same time, it also broke the single teaching mode of vocal music department and developed in a new direction.
