Article 16: In order to ensure the quality of students, the specific enrollment quotas for each department (major) can be appropriately adjusted according to the actual situation of students. Article 17 Our school is a partially independent undergraduate art college approved by the Ministry of Education. In 2020, we will not prepare provincial and professional enrollment plans for non-Guangdong Province enrollment majors.
Chapter 5 Admission Rules

Article 22 Our school is one of the independent colleges designated by the Ministry of Education. (2) All majors in our school are admitted to both liberal arts and sciences, and liberal arts and sciences are unified.
(3) Specific admission rules for each major:
1. Musicology major
The students will be admitted based on their comprehensive scores from high to low.
Comprehensive score = (professional score ÷ professional score full score) × 60 (college entrance examination cultural score ÷ cultural course full score) × 40. When the comprehensive scores are the same and the balance of the plan is insufficient, priority will be given to candidates with higher professional scores
2. Composition and Composition Technology Theory Major, Recording Art Major, Art and Technology Major, and Dance Major
Admission will be based on the best overall scores from high to low.
Comprehensive score = (professional score ÷ professional score full score) × 70 (college entrance examination cultural score ÷ cultural course full score) × 30. When the comprehensive scores are the same and the plan balance is insufficient, priority will be given to candidates with higher professional scores.
3. Music Performance Major and Performance (Musical Theater) Major
Admission will be based on the highest to lowest professional scores. If the major scores are the same and the balance of the plan is insufficient, priority will be given to basic music majors. Candidates with high academic scores; if the scores in basic music subjects are the same, priority will be given to candidates with higher academic scores in the college entrance examination.
4. Dance Performance Major and Dance Choreography Major
The best students will be admitted based on their professional performance from high to low. If the major scores are the same and the plan balance is insufficient, priority will be given to the candidates with higher cultural scores in the college entrance examination; if the scores in the college entrance examination are the same, priority will be given to the candidates with higher scores in the Chinese subject.
5. Art Management Major
Candidates who are qualified in their majors will be admitted from high to low according to their college entrance examination cultural scores. If the cultural scores in the college entrance examination are the same, priority will be given to candidates with higher scores in the Chinese subject. If the scores in the Chinese subject are the same, priority will be given to the candidate with the higher score in the foreign language subject.
6. The Musicology (Music Education) major recruits students nationwide. Candidates from Guangdong Province must take the vocal music subject examination. Instrumental music only recruits candidates majoring in piano. Candidates outside Guangdong Province take the corresponding subject examination according to the examination syllabus.
7. Other admission rules
(1) Professional course examination scores between different majors cannot be used universally.
(2) Our school gives priority to the candidates who apply for our school as their first choice.
(3) Candidates who are not from Guangdong Province, and if the province (autonomous region, city) where they are located requires to take the unified art examination, the candidates should take the unified examination in accordance with the regulations and obtain the corresponding qualifications before they can be admitted.
Article 24: Our school’s official foreign language teaching is English. Candidates who speak non-English languages ??must apply carefully.
Article 25 In Guangdong Province, candidates who apply for art (including music and dance) majors in our school and take the college entrance examination liberal arts and cultural courses must take three subjects: physics, chemistry, and biology. For the general high school examination, candidates who take the college entrance examination for science and cultural subjects must take the general high school examination in three subjects: ideological politics, history, and geography; and at least two subjects must have a grade of D or above.
Article 26 Regarding the bonus points or accommodation admission policy, the bonus points items and points announced by the admissions office of each province (autonomous region, city) shall be implemented in each province. Bonus points are applicable to filing and professional classification. Candidates who meet the excellent admission conditions announced by the national and provincial (regional, municipal) admissions offices will be admitted by our school with priority under the same conditions. Chapter 6 Physical Examination Standards for Admissions
Article 27 The physical examination standards for candidates admitted to our school shall be in accordance with the "Admissions to Ordinary Colleges and Universities" promulgated by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health and China Disabled Persons' Federation. Article 28: For the musical instrument making major, the employer has requirements for candidates’ hearing. Candidates with eardrum perforation, chronic otitis media and other diseases that affect auditory function are advised to apply carefully; for the singing major, the employer has requirements for candidates’ hearing. There are requirements for organs. Candidates with vocal and respiratory organ diseases are advised to apply carefully. For the dance performance major, due to the needs of employers, candidates with a height of less than 160cm for girls and a height of less than 170cm for boys are advised to apply with caution.

Chapter 7 New Student Registration and Review

Article 31 Within three months of new students’ admission, students will be reviewed for political, cultural, health and other aspects. Chapter 8 Charging Standards
Article 32 The charging standards of our school are based on the "About Adjustments to Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts and Xinghai Conservatory of Music" issued by the Guangdong Provincial Price Bureau, the Provincial Department of Education, and the Provincial Department of Finance. The standards announced by "Guangzhou Institute of Physical Education Tuition Standards and Related Issues" (Guangdong Price [2013] No. 34) will be implemented.
Tuition fee standard: 15,000 yuan per student per year.
Accommodation fee: 1,700 yuan per student per year at the main campus; 1,800 yuan per student per year at the Shahe campus.

Chapter 9 Student Aid Policies
