Li Chi-ting, born in Hong Kong on February 26, 1987, is a musician, actor, and singer.
He lived in Canada when he was a child, returned to Hong Kong when he was 5 years old, and entered Dawn's A MUSIC East Asia Records and PACIWOOD management companies at the age of 16. In 2009, he released his first album "Start Today". "Thieves of Time" and the theme song "The Years Are Wild" won the Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Newcomer and Best Original Film Song. In 2013, he played Zhang Tongyu in the movie "One Night of Surprise".

Li Zhiting lives in a multicultural family. His mother is Chinese and his father is of mixed race from the Middle East and Malaysia. Grandma gave him the name Aarif, which means learned and talented, and hoped that he would be successful in the future.
Li Zhiting met a music teacher in middle school who gave him music inspiration and education. He spends 8 to 10 hours playing guitar every day, starting after school, playing until around 5 o'clock, then eating, and continuing to play after dinner until 12 o'clock in the evening, after which he does his homework and then rests.
When he was 16 years old, Li Zhiting had already thought about becoming a singer. When he was 17 years old, he and his father went to a recording studio owned by an uncle to play music, and met Wang Kaiwen, the executive of A-music. At a music party, Li Zhiting met Li Ming.
At the age of 18, Li Zhiting was admitted to Imperial College London, England, majoring in physics instead of music. While studying in the UK, Li Zhiting liked to form a band with local international students. He jokingly called their band the London U Band.
In 2008, Li Zhiting returned to Hong Kong after graduating from university and signed with Liming's A-music record company.
At the age of 16, he entered Dawn's A MUSIC East Asia Records and PACIWOOD management companies, and later arranged the lyrics for all the songs in his senior sister Wei Lan's English album "Morning". At the age of 18, he was admitted to the physics department of the famous Imperial College London. At the same time, he continued to send his personal music works back to the company during his schooling. Three years later, he graduated and returned to Hong Kong to officially enter the entertainment industry.
In 2009, he produced his first album "Start Today" and won the Newcomer Award at many Hong Kong music awards ceremonies that year. At the same time, he won two awards at the Hong Kong Film Awards for Best Newcomer and Best Original Film Song for his first movie "The Thief of Time" in 2009 and the theme song "The Time Is Wild".
In 2010, he played Bruce Lee in the movie "Bruce Lee, My Brother" and played Zhang Weijie, a student prince in the 1980s, in the movie "For You", which was about missing his brother Leslie Cheung.
In 2012, he played the role of the Chief Investigation Officer of the Independent Commission Against Corruption in the movie "Chill"; in 2013, he played the role of an infatuated and considerate heart-warming man in the movie "One Night of Surprise".
