DJing is when a DJ uses a turntable and a mixing console to seamlessly splice multiple different pieces of electronic music.
Generally DJs play in nightclubs, bars and other places. DJing refers to the entire working process of a DJ and is not the same as scratching. Scratching is to use your hands to stop or make the disc spin faster, quickly move to other parts of the music, or use your hands to control the magnetic head to scratch around on the disc to produce a special sound. The whole job of DJ is DJSET, or DJLIVE, it can also be called DJing.
To be precise, DJSET and DJLIVE are both abbreviations, and the full name is DJLIVESET, which is DJ’s live performance. The word DJ actually evolved from the English "PLAY", which means playing. DJing is different from scratching. Scratching is scratch, and scratching is only a part of DJing. DJs are divided into two groups: song mixing and scratching. The main job of one group is to continuously mix songs and mix. People often abbreviate this group to MIX, but this is completely different from mixing in music production. The main job of Yipai is scratching.
