Aska Yang, born on April 4, 1978 in Taoyuan City, Taiwan, China, is a Taiwanese singer. In 2007, he participated in the Taiwanese singing talent show "Super Avenue of Stars" and made his debut. In January 2008, he released his first album "Pigeon"1, which ranked first in Taiwan's record sales list in the first half of the year with sales of 70,000 copies. In May of the same year, he held a solo concert at the Taipei Arena. Joined Universal Music3 in 2011, and released his second solo album "Primary Colors" produced by Li Zongsheng in August of the same year. On March 29, 2013, his third solo album "First Love" produced by Li Zongsheng was released5; participated in mainland variety shows The program "I am a Singer" won the third place in the finals6. In July of the same year, he became the first Chinese singer to collaborate with MTV SESSIONS7. He also served as Taiwan's tourism ambassador8. In 2014, he participated in Shenzhen TV's "Golden Bell Awards·China Audio Super" program and tied with Jin Zhiwen for the gold medal in the men's category for his English song "True Colors"9.
