Ji Huan, a student from our school, received the admission notice from Tsinghua University. Tong Yawei, a student of our school, is with his parents. Tong Yawei was admitted to Peking University with excellent results.

From September 22 to 23, 2012, the Hongshan District Cheerleading Team composed of Wuhan Hongshan High School participated in the "2012 World Cup Cheerleading Asia-Pacific Regional Finals" held in Brisbane, Australia. In one fell swoop, they won the second place in the international open group in the flower ball category. This is the best result achieved by our province’s middle school cheerleading team in international competitions so far.
