The dance major of Changzhi University is the second one. According to relevant information, in 2008, the dance major of Changzhi University ranked among the second category A in the enrollment. The Music Department of Changzhi University was founded in 2001. According to the overall plan for the development of the school, the dance education major was opened in the Music Department of Changzhi University in 2002. In 2006, the Music Department of Changzhi University launched an undergraduate dance major, which is the only dance major in the normal education category in Shanxi Province. In the same year, the first batch of dance undergraduate students were admitted. In 2008, the dance major of Changzhi University ranked among the second category A in the enrollment. So far, it has opened dance majors (Chinese dance direction) and dance majors (ballroom dance direction).
