Measuring students’ musical ability

Two methods:

1. Test pitch: The common method is to sing a song and you can hear the pitch. You can also play 135 on the keyboard and let the students follow. Sing, and then let the students sing out 134, 136, and 137 on their own. This test is very accurate. If the intonation is not good, you will not be able to sing at all, and your singing will be a little out of tune.

2. Test the sense of rhythm: The teacher beats 2-3 measures of rhythm on the table with his hands and asks students to imitate it. It can be from simple to complex. Students with a poor sense of rhythm can quickly figure it out.
