The "Shida Road Forum" of Shaanxi Normal University was created by the "Internet Culture Association", a society directly affiliated with the Youth League Committee of Shaanxi Normal University. The birth of the Normal University Road Forum is due to the continuation of the unique feelings of Normal University people towards the campus network. The two original more active forums of Shaanxi Normal University, "Temple of Heaven" and "Ginkgo Slope", were closed, leaving an unprecedented vacancy for online discussion on campus. Shida Road Forum was founded on April 26, 2007 by two senior campus network administrators, Ice007 and Gou Sheng of the Internet Culture Association.
