I think it’s pretty good, ak100 is too old, now it’s ak240~~~ (just kidding, for 240 you might as well buy a sony zx1)
The last hifi group activity, I have listened to the modified ak100, and I feel that the DAC quality is okay, but the power amplifier part is too average and not worth the price.
I prefer the sound of my current DX100. The sound field and high and low frequency extension are a little stronger than the ak100. If the price is about the same, you can consider it if you don’t think Android is too stuck. . . . . .
p.s.
Using this kind of player for lossless music is overkill. You need to get some 24bit, 192Khz high-definition music to try. It seems that there are many audition discs. Being old is still pretty cool. For lossless listening, if you want to use a portable IEM, I highly recommend Sony’s ZX1. No reason, just good-looking, rich, and willful!
