Lin Shengxi (1914～1991), composer, music educator and conductor. A native of Xinhui, Guangdong. Lin Shengxi was an important music writer in China in the 20th century. His contributions to music education and composition were widely recognized and he was the recipient of numerous awards, most of which were awarded by Taiwan. Mr. Lin's works cover vocal music, instrumental music, orchestral music and opera.
