Music structure
The formal music of Xianghe Ge can be divided into three categories: introduction, Qu and Daqu.
Yin, that is, the introduction. Liang Chenyue's "Song Book Le Zhi" says: "There were six citations in ancient times", namely "Honghou Yin", "Gong Yin", "Shang Yin", "Jiao Yin", "Zheng Yin" and "Yu Yin" . There is generally no singing, only flutes and string instruments.
Qu, that is, small and medium-sized music, mostly vocal music. It is generally divided into two categories: chanting songs and various tunes. The specific characteristics of these two types of music are difficult to determine at the moment. According to relevant literature, they are composed of several "solutions". Judging from the lyrics, the solution is equivalent to the paragraph. The interpretation of each song can be more or less, there is no fixed rule. For example, "Baitou Yin" has 3 interpretations, "Breaking Willows" has 4 interpretations, and "Resentful Poems" has 7 interpretations.
Daqu is a large-scale piece of music, usually a song and dance piece, but there are also some vocal pieces and instrumental ensemble pieces. Generally, instrumental ensembles are specifically called "danqu".
