Brief introduction of A Bing.

A Bing was born in Wuxi Taoist Temple on August 17th, 1893. He was very talented in music. When he was 4 years old, his mother died and he followed his father to make a living.

His father was Hua Qing and Taoist, who were good at Taoist music and various musical instruments. A Bing studied erhu and pipa with Guan's father since childhood. At the age of seventeen, A Bing was called "Little Tianshi" by the world when he attended a music recital.

When his father died at the age of twenty-one, he continued to be a Taoist priest. As a result of making friends, he accidentally ate, drank, gambled and even took drugs. As a result, at the age of thirty-four, he became blind and had to take to the streets to sing and become a street performer "A Bing the Blind".

In 1939, A Bing and Dong Cuidi, a widow in the countryside, got married, and "Two Springs Reflecting the Moon" was created during this period.

On December 4th, 195, A Bing died of lung disease and was buried in the tomb of a Taoist priest.

Extended information

A Bing, formerly known as Hua Yanjun, is a folk musician, who wrote and played more than 27 folk music in his life. There are three erhu songs, Two Springs Reflecting the Moon, Listening to Pines and Cold Spring Breeze, and three pipa songs, Big Waves and Sand Washing, Dragon Boat and Zhaojun Out of the Plug.

Two Springs Reflecting the Moon is a portrayal of A Bing's life and a masterpiece of his emotional catharsis. This erhu song is loved by the world and cited as a classic, which is the success of A Bing's creation and the embodiment of his creative talent.

The life at the bottom made him go through the hardships of the world and suffered the bitterness and humiliation of the old society. However, A Bing, with outstanding talent, often expressed his love and hate by playing erhu, pipa and news, and exposed the darkness at that time through music. He reflected his feelings about the painful life through music, and produced the famous erhu song "Two Springs Reflecting the Moon".

For many years, because of its strong folk flavor and profound ideological connotation, this piece of music has spread like wildfire in the international music scene and become a classic piece played by many famous orchestras.

Seiji Ozawa, a world-famous conductor, commented on the song with the greatest influence and the most widespread spread: "I should kneel down and listen …" That was in 1978, when Seiji Ozawa was invited to be the chief conductor of the Central Orchestra. During the dinner, he conducted Brahms' Second Symphony and the string ensemble "Two Springs Reflecting the Moon" (adaptation). At that time, Seiji Ozawa didn't say anything.

The next day, Seiji Ozawa came to the Central Conservatory of Music to listen to the original song "Two Springs Reflecting the Moon" played by a 17-year-old girl in the school. He was moved to tears and murmured, "If I listened to this performance, I would never dare to conduct this piece of music yesterday, because I didn't understand it, so I am not qualified to conduct this piece of music ... This kind of music should only be listened to on my knees."

I'm really going to kneel down. He also said: "The feeling of heartbroken is so appropriate." On September 7th of the same year, Asahi Shimbun published a special article "Tears Moved by Mr. Ozawa" from Beijing. Since then, "Two Springs Reflecting the Moon" has crossed the ocean and won high praise from the world music scene.
