But when Jinling City was destroyed, it was burned down under the order of Li Yu. During the Southern Song Dynasty, Jiang Kui discovered eighteen sections of the score of Shang Diao Nishang Opera. These fragments are still preserved in his "Songs of Taoist Baishi".
Today's "Nancy Clothes and Feather Clothes Music" is based on the fragments of Dunhuang music scores of the Tang Dynasty preserved by the late Professor Ye Dong of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music based on the Dunhuang Sutra Cave and the Japanese zither music collection "Ren" which contains the zither music of the Tang Dynasty. It is a re-arrangement of the Zheng music interpreted by "Zhi Yao Lu" and the first section of the "Middle Preface" of the famous Tang Dynasty French tune "Neon Dress and Feather Clothes" discovered by the Song Dynasty poet Jiang Kui.
"Song of Colorful Feather Clothes" describes the myth that Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty longed for gods and went to the Moon Palace to see fairies. Its dance, music and costumes all focus on depicting the ethereal fairyland and the image of dancing fairies, giving people a sense of wonder. Immersive artistic experience.
Bai Juyi's poem "Dancing Songs of Neon Clothes and Feather Clothes and Wei Zhi" gives a detailed description of the structure and dance postures of the song: the whole song has thirty-six sections, scattered with a preface (six sections) and a middle preface. It is composed of three parts (18 sections) and Qu Po (12 sections), which integrates singing, dancing and instrumental music. There are 36 sections in the whole song, which express the fairy tales of Chinese Taoism.
