The chants and other labor songs of various ethnic groups are combined with specific production labor methods and procedures (production folk customs) when singing, showing unique singing methods, and the songs also have unique musical styles. The folk song "Dahonge" (also known as "Dahonge") is a type of folk song. It is sung during the labor process of "dahinging", that is, one person sings and all sing together (lead singing and singing in unison) to cooperate with one person's command and everyone's concerted efforts. The movements of lifting and lowering the bow, the rhythm is clear and strong, the phrases are neat, and it has the characteristics of production folk customs, such as the "Draung Song" in Macheng, Hubei. Another example is wedding songs, which not only directly reflect the family structure, social marriage patterns and marriage customs of the relevant ethnic groups in content, but also use different tunes in music to coordinate with the etiquette and customs procedures such as welcoming the bride, seeing off the bride, crying and accompanying the bride, etc. The structure of the song is convenient. It forms a multi-section or suite form, and the music style also has distinctive characteristics of marriage folk culture. Even urban ballads and minor tunes clearly reflect the life characteristics, habits, likes and dislikes of the people in the city. The tunes of the songs are repeatedly tasted and refined to reveal a delicate and euphemistic mood. The music exudes the atmosphere of the citizens of a specific era. It is only in modern society that professional music workers have brought some excellent folk songs, minor tunes and other folk songs to the stage of literary and artistic performances that are divorced from folk life, and they have become a kind of folk songs for appreciation, similar to "art songs".
