Xu Dongwei (1948-2001),

Xu Dongwei was born on September 19, 1948 in Zhongba Town, Zijin County, Heyuan, Guangdong,

December 1965 He joined the workforce in 2011 and joined the Party in November 1981.

In 1978, he graduated from the composition training class of Guangdong People's Art Institute.

He has long been engaged in music creation and performance, organization, guidance and research of mass music.

Served as director of the Guangdong Provincial Museum of Mass Culture and Art, and member of the sixth and seventh sessions of the Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference;

Served as deputy secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, and member of the Guangdong Provincial Musicians Association. 5-term full-time Vice Chairman,

6th Chairman.

President of "Lingnan Music" magazine, director of the Chinese Musicians Association, vice president of the Chinese Social Music Research Association, and director of the Guangdong People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

He was rated as a research librarian in 1993 and enjoyed special government subsidies issued by the State Council in the same year.
