In 1983, 1986 and 1994, he received his bachelor's degree, master's degree (tutor Professor Tan Bingruo) and doctor's degree (tutor Professor Qian Renkang). He studied in Britain (1987-1988) and conducted academic research and investigation in the United States (1993-1994, 1999) and Germany (22). Published 2 million words of translation, and published about 3 million words of proofreading. Editor-in-chief works and revision of important western academic works are various.
