The father of music refers to Johann Sebastian Bach.

Johann Sebastian Bach (March 21, 1685 - July 28, 1750), was born in Eisenach, Thuringia, Germany, during the Baroque period in Germany Composer, keyboardist.

Mendelssohn conducted the Matthew Passion
