Jiang Laodao graduated from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, but has never worked in accounting for a day.

In 2004, having formed his own band, he came up with the idea of ??recording the real life of underground rock musicians, and taught himself to produce his first documentary "Souls Under the Sun". After that, he decided to join the video industry and worked as a director for a period of time under SMG. He resigned in 2006 and officially established his own video studio.

In 2013, he met the stray cat "Shortcake" by the flower bed outside his home and adopted him in his studio. In the studio, there are shelves with books and models randomly stacked up, a low wooden table, a red British phone booth, light bulbs swinging up and down, and a cooking table with bottles, cans, and kitchen utensils. The cat stretches out I was lazy, there was a light rail passing by outside the window, and "Eclipse" was born.
