Creative background:

When he was a child, Fang’s mother would tell bedside stories to Fang Datong before going to bed, and his favorite was the Chinese classical novel "Journey to the West", especially "Journey to the West" I like the main character "Sun Wukong". Fang Datong, who was still living in Shanghai at the time, didn't usually watch TV, but he would stay in front of the TV every week for the cartoon "Journey to the West".

The story of Journey to the West also inspired Fang Datong a lot. When he was 19 years old, he was inspired to create the demo of "Wukong". Fang Datong recommended "Wukong" to many record companies, but he could never find the right time or album to include the song.

After 5,277 days of dust and eleven years of music experience, "Wukong" finally found the most suitable time to release it and became the first song of Fang Datong's album "JTW Journey to the West" single. In order to create a sense of space and richness in the song, Fang Datong invited the New York spiritual choir "The Blessed Choir" to participate in the recording with a staff of more than 30 people.
