The Conservatory of Music of Qingdao University is the highest music institution in Shandong Peninsula, with Professor Wang Jingyi as the dean, who is a doctor and professor of musicology, the leader of key disciplines of musicology in the 12th Five-Year Plan of Shandong Province, the third-level distinguished professor of Qingdao University, a member of Qingdao Municipal Political Consultative Conference, and a master tutor in ethnomusicology and music history in China. There are four undergraduate majors: musicology, music performance and composition technology theory and dance, with master's degree in music and dance and master's degree in music (professional degree). Among them, musicology is a provincial key discipline in Shandong Province during the 11th Five-Year Plan and the 12th Five-Year Plan.
