Gong Linna is a top student who graduated from the China Conservatory of Music. She especially studied innovative singing methods of folk songs. After marrying her German husband, she lived in Europe for many years and devoted herself to the integration of Chinese and Western. Gong Linna and her German husband "Lao Luo" established the Five Elements Band to produce world music with a Chinese folk music style. The Five Elements Band is a world music band composed of four young musicians from China and Germany. They are based on Chinese national music and achieve unity in the collision with the modern music elements of Bavarian national culture in Germany. The music was composed by Gong Linna's husband Lao Luo. This piece is accompanied by instruments such as sheng, flute, fiddle, and dulcimer. It uses opera gongs and drums as lyrics, and combines Lao Dan, Lao Sheng, Heitou, Hua Dan and other timbres. He composed it for two or three weeks. He wrote I didn't think about it at the time, I just wanted to break through the traditional concept and be different from the previous folk music. He wanted to give people a flexible feeling when listening to it.
