Mazurka is a Polish folk dance. Its movements include sliding steps, spinning in pairs, and women running briskly around men. The music characteristics of Mazurka are: medium speed, three beats, many changes in stress, usually falling on the second and third beats, and lively and enthusiastic emotions.
