Guangxi original songs really entered moderns after the reform and opening up. During this period, not only the number increased sharply, but also the styles were diverse. At the end of 198s, the song Li Li, written by the old poet Gu Di and composed by Huang Youyi, had a strong national style, which had a great response in the whole country and became a classic of Guangxi folk songs, and it has been sung ever since. Around the new century, the creative enthusiasm of Guangxi songwriters was unprecedentedly high, and the original songs in Guangxi entered an era of enthusiasm and popularity. The primitive and simple style of Guangxi folk songs has blown a fresh wind into China music scene.
